Alpine brings Renault’s sports-car name to Formula 1 through a team based in Enstone. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto form the 2026 pairing, driving the Mercedes-powered A526.

The Alpine name arrived on the grid in 2021 after a rebrand of Renault’s works team. Behind the newer identity sits a much longer racing operation, with a history that includes championship success and Grand Prix victories.
