Mercedes returned to Formula 1 as a modern works team in 2010. Based in Brackley, the squad combines its own chassis programme with Mercedes power, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli taking the wheel in 2026.

Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg were central to the team’s early modern years. Rosberg delivered a breakthrough win in China in 2012, before Mercedes became one of the defining teams of the hybrid era.
